Job Title - Workshop Manager
Industry - Automotive & Transport
Salary - £41,000 - £44,000 per annum
Shift - Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Location - Chelmsford
I am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator in the Chelmsford area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Workshop Manager.
Requirements for Workshop Manager:
Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager is essential
Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Car driving licence is essential, PSV licence is desirable
Excellent communication skills
Effective team management skills
Workshop Manager Duties:
Deliver high standards of customer service
Set and ensure KPIs are met by the engineering team
Assist with the training of apprentices as well as new and existing members of staff
Oversee preventative maintenance
Ensure Health & Safety is being adhered to at all times
