An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a specialist, privately owned contractor based in Oxford working on a full time, permanent basis.
The first project you will be assigned to is a £1.8M timber frame, high spec, residential project based in Wantage.
Duties:
- Planning, controlling and managing the delivery of day-to-day operations on site.
- Subcontract management.
- Utilising the necessary resource and skills, within the agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
- Support the Project Manager/Project Engineer.
- Front line management and day-to-day responsibility for Health & Safety, Quality, Cost Control and Client satisfaction.
- Supervise and monitor teams to consistently deliver value with the highest standard.
- Forward plan and programme the daily work to use all resources efficiently.
The Candidate:
- Essential training - SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid
- Good technical knowledge of traditional and modern building methods
- Sets high personal safety and environmental standards
- Ability to work with a broad range of sub-contractors
