A new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer has become available with one of our amazing financial services clients.
You will be working on the Worldpay worldwide payment gateway that has been processing online payments for approximately 30 years for a large number of merchants.
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £600.00 - £625.00
Status: Inside Ir35 (umbrella)
The ideal candidate will be able to analyses, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products. You will need to participate in software design meetings and analyses user needs to determine technical requirements.
You will write technical specifications and code. Complete programming and preform testing and debugging of applications using the current programming languages and technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for developing and executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required:
Knowledge of financial services industry is a benefit
Working knowledge of Java
Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
Knowledge of unit testing
