Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

EFAB Resourcing are seeking a proactive and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations and workforce activities on a gas plant. The role involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating tasks to meet project timelines and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of riggers, platers, and other trades.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and regulations.
• Monitor progress and report on productivity, quality, and safety performance.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments.
• Liaise with management, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, incidents, and inspections.
• Support workforce development and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within industrial or gas plant environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work scopes.
• Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
