To support the university's Marketing Manager, contributing to the achievement of corporate goals through the generation and review of paid marketing campaigns, planning, delivery and review of content and associated workstreams

Client Details

A large prestigious university of Central London


· Ensure all Marketing led projects communicate core messages to prospective students and maximise all opportunities to convert interested parties

· Work in partnership with the other teams in the directorate; providing direct support to the Marketing Manager in the effective delivery of marketing campaigns for the university

· Support the Marketing Manager in commissioning external design, copy, creative (advertising agencies), to deliver category leading marketing campaigns

· Work with the content team to support prioritisation of marketing campaign content requests and the approval process

· Work closely with the student ambassadors who provide support across the annual Marketing programmes (e.g. Campaign content creation, intelligence gathering, focus groups)

· Help supervise the generation of Marketing campaigns, content and selected event collateral ensuring all are on brand

· Ad-hoc on-the-day support for marketing recruitment events.

· Working with the Marketing Manager, manage the marketing campaign process from generation of brief, briefing agency, delivery of concepts, traffic of ads to market, in campaign optimisation, through to post campaign review / recommendations for future optimisation

· Support the Marketing Manager in bringing together all campaign elements (proposition, supporting messages, customer insights, existing content), working with internal and external stakeholders

· Project management of the Open Day event guide design and print process


· Experience of planning and prioritising work to meet demanding deadlines.

· Experience of using technology to create marketing/ social media campaigns

· Good understanding of social media channels and how they can be used for advertising


· English language fluency

· Strong copy skills (spelling, grammar, proof-reading) & attention to detail

· Strong presentation & interpersonal skills, combined with an excellent telephone manner

· Excellent communication & listening skills

· Good team working/ organisation skills and an ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure
