Maintenance Engineer required for expanding company who provide comprehensive maintenance and servicing solutions across the South of England. Maintenance work covers, but not limited to Fire, Emergency Lighting and Warden Call, with some potential to expand into Access Control, CCTV, , Fire Extinguisher testing and reactive works. Location of work Bournemouth area.
Package for the position of Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £21k basic OTE £35k
Carrying out mainly planned maintenance and minor repairs / remedial works to Warden Call, Fire and Emergency Lighting Systems.
Work in accordance with the schedule of maintenance works
Carry out all work in the field to the defined quality standards in a timely and efficient manner.
Flexible working hours and demonstrate a willingness to help colleagues and customers.
Maintain an appropriate level of stock and ensure test equipment is maintained in good working order.
Demonstrate accurate fault-finding techniques where required.
To be responsible for escalating difficulties that cannot be readily overcome or are likely to jeopardise the delivery of service commitments for the day.
To use own discretion to make decisions and take appropriate action to meet the needs of the job whilst complying with processes and procedures.
Liaising with the office to order parts and equipment required for engineering delivery
Complete maintenance compliance certificates and reports within a timely fashion
Report back on any remedials required
Excellent organisational skills with proven track record of communication with various stakeholders
Proven experience of working with Fire, Emergency Lights and Warden Call systems
Autonomous with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of Fire Detection, Emergency Lights and Warden Call systems
Knowledge of PAT testing, fire extinguisher testing, access control and CCTV - Training will be provided for those who have not obtained this skill
