The role encompasses all aspects of glass manufacturing from handling float glass to operating the company machinery and driving. Your daily workload and priority list is varied as assigned by factory management.

Quality control your work.
Ensure all machines are set correctly for the glass being processed in accordance with the machine manual, guidelines and training.
Inform factory management of any issues that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines.
You will be trained and required to use various machinery and equipment and should do so following all safe working practices and health & safety guidelines.
Maintain machines and equipment in your care on a daily and weekly basis in line with management instructions.
You will be responsible for keeping any area you are working in clean and tidy and take collective responsibility to support others in improving the cleanliness and general standards of the factory.
All other tasks associated with your role.
Safely and securely transporting goods between businesses, delivering and collecting to and from customers and suppliers.
Safe loading and unloading of goods.
Wear company branded uniform at all times.
Follow General Data Protection procedures.
Offer an exceptional customer service.
Drive safely at all times.
You will take responsibility for ensuring your vehicle is maintained to a high standard and cleaned thoroughly inside and out on a weekly basis.
Knowledge & Experience:
Hold full (UK) licence
Follow Company health and safety handbook.
Safety conscious at all times, observant and with good attention to detail.
Excellent driving record.
Excellent communication skills
