Post: Finance and Admin Officer
Salary: £24011 (pro-rata basis)
Hours: 16 - 20 hours per week

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support the finance and administration needs of the organisation.
To manage and develop appropriate financial systems adapted to the needs of DHC, monitor the effectiveness of such systems, identify, and implement improvements where necessary.
Support the CEO and Treasurer to establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Update and input data to finance systems e.g., SAGE.
Define and maintain project budgets and ensure these are adhered to by monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company e.g., invoicing, payments, payroll, and other transactions.
Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company.
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term financial planning and decision-making.
Review finances and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Contract outsourced services for, auditing, and other needs as necessary.
Liaise with internal and external finance officers and accountant / auditor.
Administration & Information
To manage and develop appropriate administrative systems adapted to the needs of the co and to monitor the effectiveness of such systems, implementing improvements where necessary.
Provide administrative support to the team & CEO.
Act as a liaison point for the company dealing with correspondence and enquiries, logging such enquiries, and answering or referring as appropriate.
Liaise with suppliers and beneficiaries and outside service providers e.g., IT support, telecommunication providers etc.
Undertake office management duties to include access; cleaning; waste management; office equipment and resources; maintain asset register
Event, training, networking, or consultation planning and ensuring these are targeted and implemented appropriately.
Support administration of a grants funding scheme.
Comply with data protection regulations.
To carry out any other reasonable duties required.
