We are a leading Global Shipping Company and are looking to recruit an Equipment Control Coordinator to provide support due to business growth.
The purpose of this role is to assist at European HQ level overseeing the container inventory activities in the EU / MED region.

MAIN JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
Assisting with EUR / MED equipment control tasks, to include:
Monitoring of container stock availability to include checking export booking prospects, to ensure Ideal Empty Stock levels held and not exceeded.
Assisting with control of BSA management for EU / MED services, in order to achieve minimum 100% EB loadback.
Arrangement of empty container supply (coastal move) between locations (from surplus to shortage) in line with EHQ Trade approvals for Dry , Special and Reefer containers.
Special Container and Reefer container management.
Cabotage arrangement and administration both financial and general, to include securing HMM cntr late return from the user.
Provision of cabotage statistics, reporting etc
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION, WORK SKILLS, GENERAL AND SPECIALIST JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Sound knowledge of Equipment Control procedures for Europe / Mediterranean region. 2 years minimum experience preferred.
Experience of working at European HQ level and overseeing of local offices in EU / Med region.
Equipment Process Improvement achievement.
Advanced Microsoft excel level is essential.
Intermediate to advanced level of MS office skills.
IT literate with competent experience of in house shipping container inventory control systems.
Competent written and oral communication.
A results orientated and professional manner is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good interpersonal skills and good organisational skills.
Pro-activeness and ability to use own initiative to solve various issues.
