Hurren & Hope is pleased to be working with a well-regarded, successful, and growing software business in Cambridge. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis.

They are one of East Anglia's genuine success stories - having built a reputation that has seen them become a UK market leader in their field with over 90% market penetration. Following significant investment as part of the ongoing need to deliver these solutions in new markets including the US, they are evolving their team and bringing previously outsourced DevOps team in-house.

The company provides a bespoke data analytics solutions suite for both private and public sectors. By the very nature of their industry, you will be involved with using the latest and greatest tech stack.

Skills Required:

* Experience in designing and delivering shared service platforms
* Exposure to AWS & Azure
* A good understanding of Linux administration
* Experienced in incident, problem & change management
* Knowledge of virtualisation via VMware, vSphere & Hyper-V
* An ability to deploy bespoke software into both cloud & customer environments
* Serverless technologies such as Lambda
* Infrastructure-as-code experience i.e. CloudFormation or Terraform

The Role:
The DevOps Engineer will be working within the engineering team. This person will be responsible for focussing on AWS infrastructure and automation, with some legacy infrastructure built with Azure.
The successful candidate will be implementing Infrastructure-as-code and championing best practice, working closely with all areas of the business - the QA team, developers, and DevOps teams.

The role requires at least a couple of days in the Cambridge office a week. It will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work for a leading business making a real difference, with space to grow and continuously develop professionally.
