Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS).
Our Company Secretarial team forms part of our Managed Legal Services team with 9 colleagues based across the UK.
The role will be responsible for growing a portfolio of clients and delivering external-facing corporate administration in a fee-earning capacity.
Main Duties - Managing a portfolio of clients, with a focus on corporate administration and meeting management
- Administration for AGMs, producing agendas, taking minutes, conveying decisions and handling meeting correspondence
- Project management of large-scale matters
- Business development and client relationship activities including bids, pitches and pricing proposals
- Billing activity
- Designing and delivering training including preparation of client training materials
- Creating reports for clients
- Keeping up to date with regulatory/statutory changes that might affect the business and clients
- Assisting with the preparation of precedents
Candidate OverviewWe are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Chartered Company Secretary or LPC/Diploma qualification
- Experience of completing company secretarial work either in-house or in a professional services environment
- Experience of acting as Company Secretary for a variety of client types
