Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Client Biller for a leading Advertising agency in Central London on a permanent basis paying up to £30k per annum
For clients in your portfolio, ensure that all production and fee billing is completed accurately, on a timely basis and in-line with agreed billing schedules and contractual agreements.? Minimising accrued income, by liaising with the business, clients and Management Accountants to promptly resolve billing issues. ? Assisting the credit controller in resolving aged debtor issues. WIP & Job Management ? Ensuring all jobs have client PO cover before the being made live and work commencing. ? Authorising all production costs and job related expenses, ensuring all costs are recoverable from clients. ? Tracking production spend against agreed budgets highlighting potential overspends to the relevant production teams. ? Promptly reconciling completed jobs with the production teams, ensuring jobs are closed and any outstanding balances are correctly dealt with. ? Ownership of all jobs in your client portfolio, ensuring all jobs are progressing through the job lifecycle, being billed, reconciled and closed
WIP and Job Management:
Setting up and running regular and ad-hoc meetings with account management and production to ensure WIP issues are addressed, job statuses are clarified, final reconciliations are promptly authorised and jobs are duly closed. ? Training new producers on finance processes and controls.
Reporting & Forecasting:
? Liaising with the Commercial team to understand the agreed client fees, retainers, scope of work etc and the agreed methodology for working with each client. ? Review new jobs in the finance system to ensure they are correctly setup as per this agreed methodology to enable accurate reporting across different retainers, brands etc. ? Review income forecasts and scopes of work to ensure income for new jobs is being correctly forecasted. ? Ownership of the billing of income, as per the income forecasts, for various Partnership companies ? Highlighting any inaccuracies or risk in the income forecast to the Management Accountant.
Applicants must have worked recently for a minimum of 1 years within a junior billing/client accountant or revenue role within the marketing services sector and be looking for a next step career wise.
