I am working with a fantastic provider of Residential Childcare. Their proven record of successfully creating homely & comforting environments have allowed the children and young people in their care to express their characters & establish their independence.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be leading teams of support workers to make a vital difference to the lives of children & young people who display emotional and behavioural difficulties, and/or have experienced abuse or traumatic events.
The role includes:
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home in absence of the Registered Manager
Providing leadership and guidance to assist the development of staff through supervisions as required by the Quality Standards
Working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the service maintains excellent standards
Ensure training requirements for all staff are in line with their personal development plans
Assist the Registered Manager to monitor expenditure and operate financial systems correctly

Level 3 or 4 diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
At least 2 years of experience in Residential Childcare
Full driving license with access to own transport
