Joining a highly reputable company, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all day to day bookkeeping duties including sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking and bank reconciliations, as well as VAT returns. Any experience of undertaking management accounts / budget preparation would also be beneficial, but not essential. The company are also looking for someone to take charge of a fast moving payroll, undertaking both weekly and monthly payroll duties for circa 180 employees using Xero software. You will process starters and leavers, calculate holiday pay, SMP / SPP / SSP, etc., as well as any pension administration and auto enrolment duties.
The company would ideally like someone who can work full-time, but can be flexible and consider those looking at circa 30 hours and upwards. Previous experience using Xero would be highly beneficial. You will need good previous payroll experience
